What do you think of when you hear the word "Dubai"? Is it a country that's been booming recently? Is it a place where the wealthy gather? It's a place that makes you want to travel there!

We were invited to Dubai for work as performers in a show at a Japan-themed event. ...But here's a surprising fact.

I was contacted about this job on the morning I was leaving for Dubai🤣

You're probably thinking, "What does that mean!?" (laughs)

That day, I was in the middle of planning to shoot at the shrine for an Indian TV program, when I suddenly got a call from the event organizer.

When we asked them about it, they were urgently looking for performers to represent Japan, and they had contacted us. They gathered a small group of members and after much deliberation, they decided to go for it .

However, after the shoot, I had to take the Shinkansen and then a plane. The schedule was hectic, and I only had 10 minutes to pack.

At chibiunity, there's always some kind of trouble, like someone forgetting their passport or their cell phone...

Miraculously, everyone had all their belongings with them this time. I was so relieved!

About an hour after arriving at the hotel in Dubai, I was already off to the venue. Because I had meetings about my work and the show, I only had two minutes for breakfast and ten minutes to get ready before leaving.

At this point, it's pretty tough (laughs).

Once we arrived at the venue, we just rehearsed. The schedule was so tight that we hadn't even decided on the songs we would perform , let alone our positions.😭

As culture changes with each country, the lyrics of the song were removed and the recording was given to me, arranged to have a Japanese feel.

The sound we had in mind, the sound we wanted to convey, the atmosphere of the song - everything had changed dramatically.

Even so, having come this far , "Chibiunity can't show something half-baked."

With this in mind, each and every member continued to practice without a break right up until the performance, and as a result, they were able to give a wonderful performance ❤️🔥

However, due to the use of a fountain in the performance, the floor was slippery and the stage was narrow, so I ended up kicking Natsuki in the face during the performance... causing her to bleed.

I ended up dancing while crying. I'm so sorry.

演舞後のなつきちゃん。。。百回ぐらい謝りました。

Even with this mishap, she continued to lead the piece as the center, while the other members supported each other by cheering and dancing.

At that moment, I felt that everyone's hearts were united more than ever before on this stage .

After the show, I took a shower and then had a flight four hours later✈️

The total time spent in Dubai is approximately 26 hours.

We travel all over the world to carry out our activities, but to be honest, there are far more difficult things than difficult things.

However, beyond that difficulty lies "continued achievement" and "moments of feeling rewarded."

All of these things bring us joy and make us feel really glad that we are doing this job .

I hope to continue to gain more experience and that the juniors who follow in my footsteps will be able to spread their wings even higher.
