I had the opportunity to perform at an event called "Nagaoka Winter Festival" held in Nagaoka City in February! ✨ This was a major annual event for the Nagaoka members! With new members joining us, we were able to present a revamped (New Nagaoka Chibi Unity) 🔥 All the members were inspired and learned a lot from experiencing the Nagaoka dance scene, and many members also gathered for the workshop we organized after the event 😊 It's truly wonderful to see children working to liven up their local communities! A workshop by Meyu and Yuta was held in Agano City! Many young children, including elementary school age and younger, participated, making the venue incredibly lively! Recently, our professional members NANA & AYATO held a workshop at Sanjo High School! ✨ The energy of the high school students was incredible, and it was a truly energetic time from start to finish! 🔥 We were able to convey the charm of CHIBIUNITY through dance, and it was a wonderful opportunity for interaction where we could share not only dance knowledge but also our passion and feelings with each other! Three members of Chibi Unity Pro traveled to India to film collaborative reels while interacting with local dancers! Despite their short stay, they had a packed schedule, sometimes filming 10 reels in a single day! Every day in India was new and exciting, and they had a great time filming with their collaborators. Starting in March, our off-site classroom "Niseko CHIBI UNITY" has launched in Niseko Town, Hokkaido! ✨ Currently, children from 3 years old to 2nd year of junior high school are gathering and enjoying the lessons with great energy! The other day, the "Higashi Ward Children's Festival" was held at Higashi Ward Plaza, and we were once again given the opportunity to perform a dance. We were also able to hold a lecture session, creating a fun time for the children who came! We also had the opportunity to collaborate with the popular singer-songwriter "TSUNEI," who was helping to liven up the festival. It was a wonderful experience to participate in such a great event! A Dubai vlog from a dancer who travels the world! Today, SUE , a main member of chibiunity, will be writing the blog💓 What do you think of when you hear the word "Dubai"? Is it a country that's been booming recently? Is it a place where the wealthy gather? It's a place that makes you want to travel there! We were invited to Dubai for work as performers in a show at a Japan-themed event. ...But here's a surprising fact. I was contacted about this job on the morning I was leaving for Dubai🤣 You're probably thinking, "What does that mean!?" (laughs) That day, I was in the middle of planning to shoot at the shrine for an Indian TV program, when I suddenly got a call from the event organizer. When we asked them about it, they were urgently looking for performers to represent Japan, and they had contacted us. They gathered a small group of members and after much deliberation, they decided to go for it . However, after the shoot, I had to take the Shinkansen and then a plane. The schedule was hectic, and I only had 10 minutes to pack. At chibiunity, there's always some kind of trouble, like someone forgetting their passport or their cell phone... Miraculously, everyone had all their belongings with them this time. I was so relieved! About an hour after arriving at the hotel in Dubai, I was already off to the venue. Because I had meetings about my work and the show, I only had two minutes for breakfast and ten minutes to get ready before leaving. At this point, it's pretty tough (laughs). Once we arrived at the venue, we just rehearsed. The schedule was so tight that we hadn't even decided on the songs we would perform , let alone our positions.😭 As culture changes with each country, the lyrics of the song were removed and the recording was given to me, arranged to have a Japanese feel. The sound we had in mind, the sound we wanted to convey, the atmosphere of the song - everything had changed dramatically. Even so, having come this far , "Chibiunity can't show something half-baked." With this in mind, each and every member continued to practice without a break right up until the performance, and as a result, they were able to give a wonderful performance ❤️🔥 ひたすら試行錯誤を全員で！ However, due to the use of a fountain in the performance, the floor was slippery and the stage was narrow, so I ended up kicking Natsuki in the face during the performance... causing her to bleed. I ended up dancing while crying. I'm so sorry. 演舞後のなつきちゃん。。。百回ぐらい謝りました。 Even with this mishap, she continued to lead the piece as the center, while the other members supported each other by cheering and dancing. At that moment, I felt that everyone's hearts were united more than ever before on this stage . After the show, I took a shower and then had a flight four hours later✈️ The total time spent in Dubai is approximately 26 hours. We travel all over the world to carry out our activities, but to be honest, there are far more difficult things than difficult things. However, beyond that difficulty lies "continued achievement" and "moments of feeling rewarded." All of these things bring us joy and make us feel really glad that we are doing this job . I hope to continue to gain more experience and that the juniors who follow in my footsteps will be able to spread their wings even higher. Chibiunity continues to move forward while having fun. With the support of Kuriyama Beika, chibiunity is currently conducting "Baka-uke School Visits" where they hand out sweets to children while teaching them the joy of dance! In addition to dance lectures, members who were elementary and high school students when the group was first formed talk about their experiences of winning world championships and achieving their dreams, as well as the importance of continuing to pursue your dreams! Recently, Chibi Unity members and SUGA Jr. members appeared at an event held by the Niigata Junior Chamber of Commerce! We were able to put on a great performance that brought a smile to the faces of everyone who came to see us! 💞 We also held a fundraising campaign, and many people supported chibiunity's activities.
